Fiona lives in Carrog in North Wales, and tells traditional tales from around the world, with a special interest in stories of strong women and Tales of Wales. Awarded Welsh Learner of the Year in 2019, she is passionate about supporting second language learners through hearing and telling traditional tales.
Fiona is a Panel member of Chwedl, a network for women storytellers in Wales, which presents the Gwobr Esyllt Prize biennially to a young Welsh woman storyteller.

Chwedl, the network of women storytellers in Wales, in collaboration with BtB, will announce the winner of Gwobr Esyllt Prize 2021 during this storyround. The Gwobr Esyllt, created in memory of Welsh storyteller and singer Esyllt Harker, who lived in Llandeilo and was a valued performer at BtB, is a bursary to support the development of emerging women storytellers here in Wales.
