Sally Pomme Clayton

Artist - Sally Pomme Clayton

We are thrilled to have Sally Pomme Clayton back at the festival in 2023 with her late night solo show for grown ups, focused on the goddess tales – The Mighty Goddess.
Subversive, tender, wild global myths that follow the goddess from creator to crone. Pomme’s performance takes the audience from birth through death to transformation with myths of lust and greed, pleasure and fear, rage and destruction. The stories are drawn from her forthcoming book ‘The Mighty Goddess’ (The History Press 2023) and are for adults only!
For those wanting to see Pomme in the day she will also be performing a Story Walk – The Bog King’s Daughter. Swan maids, shield maidens, talking storks and a rattling bog! Pomme’s inventive version of a little known Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale. Discover why bogs hold the secret of human life on earth!
