Sarah is a Welsh composer of bold and imaginative contemporary classical and electronic music. Her musical language subverts the boundary between acoustic and electronic sound, engaging the audience in unique soundscapes and sonic atmospheres.

Her music has been commissioned by numerous UK and European music festivals including soundfestival, Cowbridge Music Festival, Heidelberg Festival, CNCM gmem’s ‘Les Musiques’, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and the Lucerne Festival, and she has previously collaborated with Hijinx Theatre Academy, UPROAR ensemble, Quatuor Bozzini and violinist Fenella Humphreys, amongst others. Sarah is currently Composer Affiliate with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales; the youngest, and the first ever woman, to hold such a residency with the orchestra.

Sarah is part of our new BTB commission Stars and their Consolations created with Daniel Morden and Hugh Lupton. Greek myths of the most prominent constellations in our night sky illuminated by a unique and evocative soundscape. Visceral, moving and profound.
