Beyond the Border partners with Taliesin Arts Centre to offer Box Office support for 2021 Festival

Beyond the Border – Wales International Storytelling Festival is thrilled to be partnering with Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea who will be supporting the festival Box Office, which has been rescheduled to 2-4 July 2021 at National Trust Dinefwr.

For over 25 years audiences have travelled across the U.K, and internationally to attend one of Europe’s leading storytelling festival. The event was postponed in 2020 due to COVID19 and organisers have been using the time to prepare to deliver a safe festival site for audiences, artists and staff at its new home National Trust Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire in 2021.

The partnership between Beyond the Border and Taliesin Arts Centre means that money from ticket sales admin fees is being invested back into the Welsh arts economy.

Festival Manager, Sandra Bendelow said, “We are really excited that we will be working with Taliesin Arts Centre. They are a well-respected venue with a long history of delivering excellent customer service which is integral for Beyond the Border and our audiences. At this time, we also felt it was important for Beyond the Border to invest and support local venues in Wales rather than using ticket providers outside of the U.K.”

Taliesin is very pleased to be partnering, and supporting the festival box Office for Beyond the Border – Wales International Storytelling Festival; a longstanding part of Wales’, and indeed Europe’s cultural scene. Not least during this time, we are grateful to be working together to ensure this rich tradition continues. I have personally enjoyed the festival with friends and family and I’m certain it will provide the fun and fulfilment of all previous years as we look forward it once again in July 2021.”

Tickets for Beyond the Border Festival 2021 will be going on re-sale from 16 November through the festival website and through Taliesin Arts Centre. For a limited time only, ticket prices will be held at the current ticket prices and will then be increased from 1 December 2020.

Due to the current situation Beyond the Border will be limiting the number of weekend (non-camping) and day tickets. Beyond the Border will be releasing a limited number of Day tickets from 1 April 2021.

Sandra Bendelow said, “We want to ensure when we bring the live festival to NT Dinefwr in 2021 that it is safe and comfortable for all our audiences, artists and everyone working on the festival.  We will need to bring in extra facilities and safety elements which has meant that ticket prices have had to go up. If you want to save some money on the full price Weekend and Weekend and Camping ticket please buy now at the lower rate before 30 November.”
