Sul 9 Gorffennaf, 8pm-9pm
Alim Kamara & Rufus Mufasa
Glyndŵr

Switching it up from djeli to rapper, Alim Kamara is joined by poetry pioneer and lyricist Rufus Mufasa, sharing tracks/ acapelling, in English, Krio and Welsh.

Alim switches from folktales to rap in this session with hip hop MC, poetry pioneer Rufus Mufasa as they exchange tracks, acapella and banter about their routes into hip-hop. Rufus is the Future Generations first poet in residence, she draws on three languages, runs participatory projects and mentors beat poets in Finland.

Rapiwr a chwedleuwr sydd â chefndir Prydeinig ac o Sierra Leone yw Alim Kamara. Yn blentyn yn byw yn Sierra Leone, byddai Alim yn gwrando ar Djelis (chwedleuwyr), gan edmygu’r ffordd yr oedden nhw’n plethu gwersi i’w chwedlau. Pan symudodd i Lundain a chychwyn ar ei yrfa gerddorol, defnyddiodd yr un dechneg i gael senglau i rif un yn Sierra Leone a Nigeria, Ail-gymysgiad ‘Let’s Get Lost’ gyda Sharlene Hector, a ‘Noto PlayPlay’, trac sy’n cymysgu Saesneg a Krio (Saesneg bratiog a geir yn Sierra Leone).
