9th September 2020, 10am-12.30pm, Online
A practical workshop suitable for storytellers who use more than one language in their work exploring bilingual storytelling techniques, story structuring, and best practice in working with multiple languages.
Places are limited to 12 participants and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to secure your place.
Please note, in order to get the best out of this workshop, you will need to be able to comfortably express yourself and improvise a little in both languages. Our recommendation is that you can speak your additional language up to GSCE level. You don’t need to be fully fluent.
You will need to bring along a story to work on that you feel drawn to telling bilingually of around 10-15minutes. Longer material is also welcome. You will be working on short sections of the story and sharing it with other participants during the workshop.
