Ailsa Mair is a singing cellist, emerging storyteller and ecological sound artist who has worked in storytelling as a collaborative musician for over a decade.
Known for her part in duo Tinc y Tannau, Ailsa Mair is a classically-trained and wildly untamed songwriter and improviser, who developed a new ‘Soundmapping’ project in lockdown, funded by the Arts Council of Wales & The National Lottery Stabilisation Fund.
Deb Winter and Ailsa Mair Fox will be presenting their Esyllt Harker Commission – an award they jointly won in 2021.
