Can I camp with a Day Ticket?
Yes you can, but you must purchase a campsite ticket.
Can I pay to stay at the campsite on the day?
We have limited space at the campsite and live-in vehicle site, and we expect these spaces to sell out quite soon.
When can I stay from?
The campsite will open from Friday 7 July at 11am and will close on Monday 10 July at 11am.
The festival programme of events doesn’t start on Friday until 6pm.
Do you offer a car share scheme?
We don’t as such but we encouraging people to join our Facebook Group and to post in there if you are able to share or need a lift.

Is there any mains connections for the live-in vehicle site?
No. You need to be self-sufficient. We will have a dedicated toilets and shower area in both campsite and live-in vehicle site.
Can I charge my phone at the festival?
If you are camping with us we will have some power points at the campsite with our campsite volunteers. There are a limited number of points and will be first come first served.
Can I drive my car onto the campsite or festival field?
For the health and safety of everyone staying on the campsite we do not allow vehicles onto the site. We are very grateful to be allowed the very rare opportunity to camp on the NT Dinefwr estate however our campsite field is part of a working farm and as such has only a small single file track. The safety of our customers is paramount which is why we do not allow vehicles onto the campsite. However, there is a car park right next to the entrance of the festival and it’s a 5 minute walk from the festival site entrance to the campsite.
We will have heavier duty trollies available and accessibility buggies on site.
I might need extra support getting around the festival site. What can I do?

What access provision is there for the festival site? I want to know more details on parking, camping and festival provisions?
I am a National Trust Member. What do I pay?
We have reduced tickets available for NT members when you go the payment page. When you go to the payment page you will be asked to enter your membership number. We will be cross checking numbers with NT.
I live locally, is there a reduced ticket fee?
Yes. If you live locally there are a limited number of reduced Day Tickets available. Flyers have been sent to those living in an SA postcode near to Dinefwr. If you haven’t received this information and want to know more please email info@beyondtheborder.com
Can I bring my dog to the festival?
Dogs are NOT allowed in venues unless they are Companion or Guide Dogs.
NT Dinefwr is a working farm with cattle, deer and sheep. Dogs are allowed on the festival site but must be kept on leashes and under control.
Is the programme suitable for young children?
Yes! We programme a mix of storytelling event and activities suitable for young families through to grown-ups.
Will there be food stalls?
We will have a wide range of food and drinks available on site bringing you the best of local and Welsh cuisine.
I am a performer and I’d like to be at the festival. How do I apply?
We are a storytelling festival and look for the best stories in music and performances. We welcome applications on email but we can not guarantee you will be able to perform at the festival. The 2023 programme is nearly complete, and we will be making a full programme announcement in the new year.

I want to volunteer at the festival. How do I apply?
Applications are now closed to volunteer applications at Beyond the Border. If you have already applied we will notify you within a few weeks. We will notify you as soon as we can.
I live locally are there discounts?
We have a limited number of discounted day tickets and Friday evening tickets only. This is for anyone living in an SA postcode. You can get a discounted ticket to up to 50% off Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday tickets.
