Sarah Rundle

Artist - Sarah Rundle

We are thrilled that Sarah will be joining us at Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire with three performances.

Sarah Rundle has devised works for the British Council, Wellcome Foundation, Geffrye Museum, Kew Gardens, and the National Trust. She has performed at Stockholm’s Fabula Story Café, the Nivesh Festival in Delhi, Kolkata Literature Festival, Sharjah International Book Fair, and Festival at the Edge.

Look out for these three shows at the festival in July

Naughty Japanese Badgers (for families)

They are naughty, and they get up to mischievous tricks. They swindle the unwary and

hoodwink travellers. They steal noodles and drink far too much sake. They are really very

bad role models indeed. A show for all the family.

Rosamunda, Woman of the Lombards

A Golden City stands in a swamp, besieged by Barbarian hordes. One woman holds the fate

of nations in her palm – but which man can she trust?

War. Blood. Poison. Skulls. Revenge. Sex. Up against a wall. Mosaics. Town Planning.

Women Who Bore Through Walls

It’s an age-old story: a young and beautiful wife, with a jealous husband. A home that has

become a prison. But with time, cunning, and a pointy metal implement, four women

hacked their way back into freedom and fun.

Four tales that celebrate the ability of women to escape, enjoy life, take lovers, and dupe

their would-be jailers.
