Beyond the Border at the National Eisteddfod this August

The Beyond the Border team is excited to be involved in this year’s National Eisteddfod programme at Tregaron. Over the last few years, we have been gradually growing our Welsh language and Welsh learners programmes at the BtB Festival, and developing our partnership over the last two years with the National Eisteddfod.

As part of the the National Eisteddfod at Tregaron we will bringing some of the best Welsh storytellers to festival who will be performing stories for adults, children and learners. Here’s what we have planned from 2-4 August.

August 2nd

1.30-2yh Maes D, Sesiwn i Ddysgwyr, Cwt Crefft: Fiona Collins & Ffion Phillips

Session for learners – short stories

2.15-3yh Ty Gwerin, Stomp Stori: Fiona Collins, Ffion Phillips, Tamar Eluned Williams, Ceri Phillips, Gwilym Bowen Rhys, host Llio Maddocks

Following our online partnership with the National Eisteddfod in 2021 we are thrilled it be doing Stomp Stori live in person!

Stomp Stori will include two rounds of 5 minute stories followed by a final round to determine the winner. You decide which is your favourite story at each round.
